Sanctions lifted on NE Syria! Two long years of work and advocacy with Brandon H. Wheeler and Freedom Research Foundation who helped it become part of United States Commission on International Religious Freedom recommendations for Syria since 2020. USCIRF has often recommended sanctions to punish governments for their conditions, was time to reward the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria for theirs. This is good policy!
