An ineffective rocket targeted a position of the global coalition against the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria on Monday, amid a spike in offensives between the US-led forces and Iran-backed armed groups in the area. The attack targeted an outpost of the coalition in northeast Syria (Rojava), with one rocket found in the vicinity of the camp, and a second rocket found at the point of the origin of the attack, according to a statement from the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
